Dissection of a pitcher plant
A pitcher plant cannot digest the exoskeleton of its prey, and it cannot get rid of the leftovers after its meal. The bottom of a pitcher plant is full of the corpses of its prey. At this exhibit, you can view and count different insect corpses inside a dissected pitcher plant.
